BUDWEISER : GREATNESS IS YOURS TO TAKE

Budweiser asked us for a campaign idea to leverage their FA sponsorship of England’s Lionesses during the 2023 Women’s World Cup. The ‘Greatness is yours to take’ campaign platform celebrated the tenacious spirit of England’s greatest female players and the momentum of the Lionesses that has driven the game forward in England. The campaign was led by a 30’ TVC directed by the legendary Glenn Kitson. Featuring Lioness Beth Mead, former England footballer Karen Carney and a cheeky cameo from John Barnes and the belting punk track ‘Come On Let’s Go’ by Girlschool. OOH ads accompanied the film, appearing across the UK, along with a Piccadilly Lights take over. Have that!

The art direction below didn’t make the cut, but I’m still proud of its bold simplicity and the ideas woven into the design that linked to the campaign strategy.
