Over a year and a half I worked with BETC Paris/London to support on new business. Seeing multiple (5 out of 6) pitch winning ideas through creative development, production, craft and completion for the likes of H&M, Danone Global + Evian, Budweiser UK, Decathlon and Lipton.

CD across John Lewis, Virgin Media, Miller Genuine Draft, Lucozade, Quorn, L’Or Coffee, adidas Football, Haig Club and global Samsung projects. As a solo CD at the agency I worked across accounts and projects that require a particular level of craft and focus on the aesthetic within the creative. Working closely with Rick Brim on pitches throughout the year, establishing brand worlds and campaign art directions across a varied shape of work from global brand refresh, to full 360 campaigns and innovative one off digital projects.

Senior Creative Director leading the creative department and design studio within the agency. Global Creative Director for Rimmel London. New business Creative Director. With the responsibility of leading the creative department and reporting to CCO Rosie Bardales, I was also the CD across projects and campaigns for Evian, Air France, Swatch, Disney, and numerous pitches.

As ECD of FDL I oversaw the development of all strategy, creative and digital on all of our business. Guiding the creation of TVC, film, art direction, campaign mechanics and digital experiences that added depth to our clients integrated/product campaigns. My role also meant that I was involved in all new business activity, whilst remaining front line on our retained accounts. I worked closely with the agency president Bob Reimer in Denver to grow the business from day one, who also involved me in the acquisition of a digital agency in Zurich, when I was also given the responsibility for merging the agency cultures.

June 2007 - September 2010

At U-DOX I was responsible for the growth and management of a multi disciplined creative and digital team that included digital and graphic designers, animators, and a production team. Together we created and managed a wide range of work that included seasonal trend focused campaigns for leading fashion and sportswear brands: adidas Originals, Ralph Lauren, Dickies, Levi’s, Reebok and Nike (Asia). I led all the integrated communications strategies and the application of campaign creative in all channels, that used innovative storytelling devices to engage audiences through broadcast TVC's, digital, social media and traditional advertising.

Harrods - Art director for instore POS, advertising and publishing projects. IPC Media - Design and art direction on special projects with Andy Cowles. Westfield London - Launch campaign for London Fashion Week. Financial Times - Art direction and design for mens style magazine. Deadline (ITV2) - On screen AD along side Janet Street Porter (Editor), as part of a reality TV show.

Art Director, The Sunday Times

November 2004 – July 2006

Launch art director of ‘The Sunday Times Travel Magazine’. Working with John Witherow (ST editor) to ensure an individual look and a design that was sympathetic to The Sunday Times brand and appealing to its target female readership. The magazine fulfilled its original target to outsell Conde Nast Traveller on the UK news stand. Art direction and design of new magazine look & feel, including creation of unique house font, cover criteria, style sheets and design layout. Management and recruitment of design team and picture desk. Commissioning and art direction of all original photography.

November 2000 – July 2004

Art director for Lexus and Toyota. All design and publishing projects involved extensive art direction of original photography from advertising to editorial standard. Commissioning, art directing and controlling budgets over a variety of photography including: location, studio, interiors, fashion and lifestyle. I also acted as art director over other group projects including pitches and new business that required a variety of different design solutions.

January 1998 – October 2000

As senior designer I was working on graphic design and advertising for print and radio - from concept to artwork for the MOBOs, BRIT Awards and Dancestar awards. I primarily worked on music and entertainment based projects being encouraged to be experimental with use of typography and graphic design.

Designer and Illustrator, Brand Development Business

August 1995 – December 1997

Brand and product concept development for Mars, Aunt Bessie and Golden Wonder. Within this role I was responsible for creating the look of well known confectionery such as Milky Way Stars and creating brand imagery for the Aunt Bessie range to give an appropriate market positioning at the launch period. I was also responsible for creating hand drawn story boards for advertising of products in development.

I attended Berkshire College of Art & Design whilst working as a junior designer to gain City and Guilds qualifications. At the start of my training I was simply the studio junior, by the end of my training I was taking briefs and presenting work to clients. I owe much of my career and talent to the inspiration and trust placed on me during my time at Isosceles.
