VIRGIN MEDIA : UNLIMIT-ING

We created the Virgin Media Unlimit-ing creative platform to embody the power of its services whilst returning the brand to its mischievous roots. Running throughout the work is a sense of irreverent humour that draws on Virgin’s brand heritage of being rebellious but also a bit cheeky. Featuring a TVC that premiered on Friday (14 June) during Gogglebox on Channel 4. The "You can do anything" campaign ran for three months and span out-of-home, video-on-demand, press, radio, online and social media.

The campaign also called for an entirely new brand handwriting for Virgin Media. The visual language I developed is based on the broad spectrum the service offers — Broadband, TV, and Mobile — connectivity everywhere. The system is completely expandable and interchangeable to guarantee a future proof VI, which is easy to use in the broadest set of applications.

The bespoke CG imagery found its way all over Great Britain within a national OOH campaign that featured over 100 special builds featuring the super HD CG swirls, that literally broke out of OOH formats. Overlaid with bold typographic messages, that were further plays on ‘-ing’ to express the endless possibilities, and features of Virgin Media.
